Furniture Store

Overview
The
Players enter a multi-floor store filled with unique furniture pieces and container loot. All items, including rare weapons and consumables, respawn during portal resets and there is no strict cap on how many of a given item can be collected. A functional Coffee Vending Machine appears here for the first time and can exchange Money for a
Gameplay interactions and practical notes:
- Zombies do not spawn until one of the five buttons is pressed. Each subsequent button press increases the Zombie spawn rate. Plan button presses carefully.
- The five buttons are randomized across a fixed set of spawn points each visit; leaving the world and returning reshuffles their locations and resets which buttons have been pressed. It is therefore efficient to identify all five button locations before pressing any.
- The store is very dark. Bring a Headlamp plus a secondary hand-held light such as a
Flashlight. Using a hand flashlight before engaging enemies conserves headlamp battery for combat. Raising your PC gamma improves visibility but is less effective on the basement level.
- A melee weapon is highly recommended for crowd control once Zombies spawn. Wide-arc weapons such as the Thermal Mallet are especially effective; the Cane Sword can be found in an umbrella rack on the right side of the store relative to the entrance. A shield can block attacks, and some shields or weapons provide a stun.
- To avoid over-encumbrance, drop heavier unique weapons in the elevator area for later retrieval.
- If the elevator puzzle is bypassed the Zombies do not spawn. Bypass options include flying directly to the elevator shaft with a
Gravity Dampener plus
Jump Pad, using a
Personal Teleporter, Rope Plant,
Jetpack, or other vertical-mobility gear. Flight to the top area is not always available on the first visit.
- The elevator top floor is completely safe: Zombies, Leyak, Assault Events, and Portal Storms cannot enter, making it a reliable temporary base and charging point thanks to two outlets.
Environmental and meta details:
- The shop’s layout includes multiple floors with lamps only occasionally available; lighting placement is a useful long-term marker for button locations. Loot tables include many container types and breakable electronics; specific unique items appear as environmental spawns or from Zombies.
- GATE’s compendium classifies the site as Anteverse 23 and investigations into its precise origin and the outbreak remain ongoing.
